The Transcat 21050E Provides the technician with a portable 24V power source for powering field transmitters
During startups, shutdowns, overhaul periods, ect. field loops are not usually energized – and yet the technician is still expected to be able to install, test and calibrate field instruments. The 21050E fills this need.
- Provides regulated 24VDC
Power transmitters and other 24VDC devices for hours off a single 9V battery.
- Shirt Pocket size
Convenient, rugged, go-anywhere case is toolbox tough
- Low noise
Will not interfere with smart transmitter communications.
- ON/OFF switch
Disconnects the battery from the internal 24V boost converter. The quiescent operating current of the internal power supply is approximately 110uA. This results in a battery drain of only 1% per 24 hour period if the unit is left on with no load.
- Output Terminals
The 24V output terminals are flush mounted miniature banana jacks.
- Current Monitor Jack
The current monitor jack is a normally closed, 2.1 x 5.5 mm DC jack in series with the 24V output. To power a transmitter and simultaneously monitor the loop current, insert the current monitor cable into the current monitor jack and attach the other end to a reference millammeter
