Hart Scientific 9123: Dry-Well Calibrator

The Hart Scientific 9123 dry-well calibrator may be used as a portable instrument or bench top temperature calibrator for calibration of thermocouple & RTD temperature probes

The dry-well calibrator features:

• Interchangeable aluminum-bronze probe sleeves

Built in programmable features include:

• Ramp and Soak
• Temperature scan rate control
• Temperature hold

The temperature is accurately controlled by Hart’s hybrid analog/digital con-troller with serial and an optional IEEE-488 ports.

The controller uses a precision platinum RTD as a sensor and controls thewell temperature with a solid state relay (triac) driven heater. The LED frontpanel continuously shows the current well temperature. The temperature maybe easily set with the control buttons to any desired temperature within thespecified range. The calibrator’s multiple fault protection devices insure userand instrument safety and protection.

The 9123 dry-well calibrator was designed for portability, moderate cost, andease of operation. Through proper use the instrument should provide contin-ued accurate calibration of temperature sensors and devices. The user shouldbe familiar with the safety guidelines and operating procedures of the calibra-tor as described in the user manual.
